Infosys, India’s second-largest software exporter by revenue, applied for 18 patents in India and the US. The software major, which has 219 pending patent applications in India and the US, has been granted six patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, two of which are in data communication and abstract core. Over the last three years, the company applied for 240 patents, of which 220 are in India and the rest in the US.
